One two-month journey circling the Australian Coast is being halted days after the fatal incident of an elderly lady who was stranded by the vessel on a distant tropical isle.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with shipmates from the cruise ship, but separated from the excursion for a break. The vessel departed without her and returned later that day after the crew realised the woman was not present.
